Kensington Palace Tea Time

One can not visit England without having tea time… it’s a given. One week before my finals and my last day in London, I had my one and only tea time experience at the best place I could find, at The Orangery Restaurant in Kensington Palace.

Sue and I enjoyed our last free day with an elegant 18th-century style typical English tea. The Orangery is the perfect place to have this experience because you could enjoy the beautiful gardens surrounding Kensington Palace and visit the Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park.

I ordered the English Orangery Afternoon Tea, which included an assortment¬†of mini sandwiches, famous English scones (with the most delicious strawberry jam I’ve ever tasted), and afternoon tea pastries. As for tea, I enjoyed the sweet and refreshing Wild Berries tea, which included bilberries, elderberries, raspberries, strawberries, and blackberries.

Tea time at the Orangery is an experience that will make you feel and dine like the royals!
